Year Six Graduates with distinction in Cambridge Checkpoint Exams
In May, 2018, Ecole Ronsard saw its first batch of students sit for the Cambridge Checkpoint exam. These pacesetters indeed set the right pace by producing outstanding results!
The months prior to the examinations were filled with endless days of sweat and sacrifice from all stakeholders – students, teachers, parents and the school’s management team. In the end, their toil reaped enormous benefits – all the École Ronsard students who wrote the exam passed with distinction!
The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Exams, which is held twice each year, have been designed to assess learners at the end of Cambridge Primary School. They are available in English, English as a second language, Mathematics and Science and cover all major areas of learning in the Cambridge Primary curriculum frameworks.
The tests are marked in Cambridge and provide schools with an external international benchmark for learner performance. Each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report, giving schools detailed information and parents extra trust in the feedback they receive.
The test also gives comprehensive feedback on learners’ strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next stage of education.
We congratulate our pioneer Checkpoint graduates, their parents, teachers and the entire school for making us proud. You have truly lived up to the school’s mantra by giving our children the keys to the future!
